Counselling and Therapy in Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin

BACP qualified Private Counsellor and Therapist.

My service is designed to be accessible and supportive, offering you the choice of In-Person or Online therapy sessions to suit your needs.

Therapist in Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin and Surrounding areas

Hello, I’m Louise, and I run Louise Bowyer Therapy, offering professional and compassionate counselling from my base in Baldock. I support clients across the local area including  Ashwell, Buntingford, Letchworth and Hitchin.

I work as an integrative therapist, which means I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I carefully select and combine various therapeutic methods to create a unique and tailored path designed specifically for your emotional well-being and personal goals. This includes a person-centred form of therapy, which means our sessions are led by your needs and at your pace.

About me and my practice

My primary goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and genuinely welcoming space where your unique thoughts and experiences can be explored without judgment. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to find clarity and develop a path forward that feels authentic and manageable for you.

My training includes a Post-Graduate Diploma (with Merit) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London, alongside Levels 2 and 3 in Counselling Studies. I have completed the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Menopausal Symptoms course, run by the British Menopause Society and I hold a Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language.

Taking the first step is easy and risk-free. I offer a free initial 20-minute phone consultation so we can discuss your current needs and ensure my therapeutic approach is the right fit for you. This is a chance for you to ask questions without any obligation.
