About Me
Louise Bowyer
As a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP, I offer one-to-one online and face to face counselling for adults in a warm and supportive environment. Each session lasts 50 minutes, and I can provide both long-term or short-term support, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
With my experience as both a teacher and solicitor, I have a deep understanding of the unique stresses and burnout risks within the workplace. This background equips me to help lawyers and other professionals navigate these challenges effectively. Together, we can develop strategies to manage the intense pressures commonly faced in such demanding environments.

Additionally, I offer support for parenting challenges, addressing feelings of isolation and frustration that can accompany the arrival of a new family member. I have a special interest in helping women who are pregnant or struggling in the post-natal period.
With experience working in a hospice, I am well-prepared to support individuals affected by bereavement, helping them navigate their grief and gently work towards finding a new normal.
My approach is integrative, with person-centred focus, ensuring that each client's needs and preferences are at the heart of our work together.
